Hello All,
Mike Hukill and myself have worked to get Dock Holiday whipped into shape for the season!
Some items to expect when you arrive at Dock Holiday. New carpet on the front and back decks as well as the stairs to the upper deck. (association had it replaced). After discussion we ask that everyone use the crane or lower and raise the kayaks off the upper deck instead of down the stairs. The kayaks hammered the carpet on the stairs and back deck.
New rubber pads under the BBQs. Please keep them under them to eliminate grease from landing on the carpet.
We painted the entire interior of the boat. Painted the back deck, stairway, and touched up the front bumper and other exterior areas.
There was corrosion on the top deck by the stairs. We repaired it and applied new Permaflex. It may need one more coat.
Mike installed new flooring in the kitchen and master bath. He also installed a new toilet in the front bathroom.
The shower floor was painted. New shower curtain. New blinds in the Master bedroom, master bath, and left cubby. New comforters for all beds. Installed new curtains in the back. Fixed the crane. Painted the engine lids. New rollers on the rear sliding door.
The Association had a lot of the canvas railing material replaced.
It is in great shape and ready to enjoy!
If everyone will do their best to leave it clean and nice for the next Owner, I'm sure all will appreciate it.
Mike Hukill is creating a check off list so everyone is aware of what needs to be done before leaving the house boat.
Thanks to everyone and let's have a fun season!
